Questions
What clients ask us before automating
The doubts that come up again and again in our meetings with law firms, accounting firms and SMBs. The short answer first; then the detail and the sources.

Question
Is it safe to use artificial intelligence with my clients' data in a law firm?
Yes, if the tool is chosen for it: a provider with a data processing agreement that doesn't train on your data, data processed in the EU, limited and logged access, and a lawyer who reviews everything before it leaves the firm. A free chat doesn't meet that bar.
Question
Will I lose the personal touch with my clients if my law firm uses AI?
No, if the AI prepares and the lawyer decides. Reading, filing and drafting get automated; the tone, what is said and the relationship stay with the lawyer, who approves every message before it goes out. Done well, clients notice one thing: faster replies.

Comparison
We already use ChatGPT at work: what does a digital employee add?
ChatGPT helps whoever uses it, when they ask. A digital employee does a whole task when work arrives: it reads the email, checks your software, prepares the reply and asks for approval before sending it. They don't compete: most companies use both.
Comparison
Should I hire an admin person or automate the repetitive tasks?
It depends on the work. If it's repetitive volume with clear rules (reading and sorting email, copying data, chasing documents), automating usually costs less and copes with peaks. If it needs judgement, client contact or tasks that change, you need a person. Often the best answer is both.
Question
In-house team or external provider to automate processes with AI?
For the first processes, a provider that builds inside your own accounts and documents everything is usually faster and cheaper than setting up a team. If automation becomes central to the business, it's worth having someone inside. Many companies end up combining both.
